Seepage Characteristics and Failure Prediction during the Complete Stress–Strain Process of Limestone under High Water Pressure

The seepage characteristics during the complete stress–strain process of limestone under high water pressure were simulated via an experimental study post-peak penetrating behavior, and approach to predict formation channel, namely, acoustic emission positioning technology, is proposed. results showed that (1) whether in experiment or numerical simulation, sudden drop curve after peaking indicated full shear fractures paths. (2) By using technology entire limestone, from microfracture initiation compaction transfixion, could be monitored observe dynamic real-time development microfractures. (3) combination with monitoring revealed location growth direction micro ruptures predicted depth penetration. developed can improve forecast accuracy for landslides involving a low-permeability rock mass cracks. In this study, analyzed, method paths before transfixion provided. This work provide reference guiding elements ensuring safety slopes internal pressure.
